Balboa 3 Kw Heater M7

This 3 kW heater is compatible with the vast majority of Balboa M7 control systems, including the GS series and, GL2000 and GL2001 (but not the GL8000). It is available in two versions, where the only difference is the material of the element – either Incoloy 825 (perfect for most requirements) or Titanium (for corrosive environments). The Balboa M7 (or Millenium 7, as it was originally known) control system uses two very sensitive temperature probes inside the barrel of the heater itself to detect the rate of water flow. This makes it much more reliable, in our experience, than competitive systems that use failure-prone moving parts instead, such as pressure switches or flow switches. M7 heaters require a minimum water flow rate of 75 litres/minute (4.5 m³/hour). The M7 sensors and cables are included. It is very easy to replace a Balboa M7 heater; it will probably take you less than 10 minutes. If you are replacing your heater, be sure if needed to add the union sockets for 2″ pipes. Union sockets for 1.5″ pipes are also available.
